Topic 1: The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
I am to join a consortium especially on Topic 1 concerning food system transitions. I am interested in systemic innovation and how it can spread across the whole food system (ecosystems in rural and/or urban areas). I can offer a contribution in developing sustainable and/or circular business models in order to make the food system more resilient and able to respond not only to economic but also to social and environmental sustainability. In that topic I could offer multi-actor dialogues, workshops, scenario analysis, stakeholder analysis, etc.
Nofima is a leading, independent food research institute operating in three main areas of focus are aquaculture, the food industry and fisheries, but we also have vast experience when it comes to interdisciplinary projects.
Our research includes the entire food chain, from the start of food production, through harvesting, processing and packaging, to commercialisation and marketing, and we look into the whole innovation process, also with competence in management and business development.
