Topic 1: The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
We, the “resources, economy and resilience” team at IZT, would like to join a consortium that plans to submit a project proposal for topic 1. We could contribute a work package with the following possible contents:
a) Needs assessment and innovation analyses: We have profound experience in designing and carrying out needs assessment processes (via user surveys, focus groups etc.) to analyse requirements from the user's perspective and therefore improve the connectability of new solutions. With innovation analyses we can contribute to recognising obstacles to innovation and risks at an early stage and help tapping of potential benefits.
b) Foresight: We are experienced in trend analysis, scenario-based approaches and Roadmapping in the context of new foods, agriculture and bioeconomics. These approaches can be used to identify potential for change and translate them into new requirements, technology needs and options for future markets.
