Topic 1: The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
We are researchers representing Lund University, Sweden, with a focus on sustainable food systems. A number of our current research projects examine the potential of urban food sharing as a means of promoting social and environmental sustainability, as well as the development of regenerative urban food systems. Furthermore, our expertise encompasses alternative business models (including sharing, circular, sufficiency, and regenerative) that are applicable to the agri-food sector.
Our research employs qualitative methods in participatory and action-based approaches, with close collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including local and national governments, businesses, and citizen organisations. In response to this call, we are interested in joining a consortium with an intention to brining our expertise.
The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University is dedicated to the advancement of strategies for sustainable solutions and sustainable urban transformations.
