Topic 1: The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS in Greece is a Group of holistic services in Certification, Training, Technical and Industrial Audits, Certification of Professional Qualifications, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Laboratory Analysis and Testing, Technological Solutions for Digital Training & Cybersecurity Services with a state-of-the-art SOC (Security Operations Center) function and the Research and Development Division (R&D) responsible for participation in European Funded Projects and responsible for the design and development of specialized services and applications as well as pilot Private Schemes / Protocols related to the needs of these Projects.
TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS in Greece has been operating in Greece since 1994, with a vision and main priority the effective implementation of Quality as an integral tool of business and work, placing people, safety, the environment and society at the center.
The Research and Development Division (R&D) of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS is responsible for the design and development of specialized services and applications as well as pilot Private Standards related to the needs of these companies. The design and development of such Protocols / Standards may also be deliverables of innovative European research projects.
Participation in consortia of national and European research programs.
TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS' participation in these programs is coordinated by the R&D Department, which is also assigned the management of the participation by utilizing appropriate contacts in Greece and abroad, as well as the systematic information on the development of their course.
- The interconnection of the network of customers and associates of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, as well as the entire global network of TÜV AUSTRIA GROUP with the Project Partners for the more effective processing of the work packages through the provision of know-how and their participation in pilot applications of the deliverables under development.
- The contribution to the general communication & commercial planning of the promotion of these specialized innovative services / pilot Private Protocols, which arise as deliverables of the research Projects to the expanded global network of associates and customers with the aim of promoting the results of these Projects.
- The investigation and management of trends in the academic and business environment in which TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS operates to identify opportunities for the development of research proposals with the aim of creating innovative methods for the development of control, certification and training processes.
- The assessment of new specialized services, the evaluation and verification of the results of the Projects, as well as the prospect of their exploitation by the Company after their final date.
- The monitoring and measurement of development indicators of the Company's new services that have arisen as results of the Projects, as well as their revision / updating where deemed necessary.
These are achieved by utilizing highly trained and certified personnel in each field of knowledge, ensuring the best solution in conditions of complete objectivity and unquestionable independence.
