House of agroecology brings in:
- expertise in designing and implementing practical solutions for sustainable and resilient food systems.
- a Large network of private agrofood companies who are eager to work on sustainable and resilient food systems
- A network of expert agronomic partners, scientific partners, farmer unions, retail and food industry partners
- Expertise on agroecology / regenerative agriculture increasing the resilience of food systems
- Expertise on business models & measuring instruments for sustainable agriculture & sustainable supply chains
The House of Agroecology is a central platform to accelerate the agroecological /regenerative transition. It acts systematically to develop this path of joint progress with the greatest possible number of players upstream and downstream of the agriculture and food sector. The transformation of the agri-food model has become a necessity if we want to increase the value of the agricultural and food professions, guarantee food sovereignty and fight climate change.
We function as a neutral trusted third party for agriculture and food transition in Belgium.
