The Culinary Institute, established in 2018, is a cornerstone of Vejle Municipality's comprehensive food initiative. Acting as a unique bridge between the municipality and the business sector, we are dedicated to driving innovation and forward-thinking solutions in the food industry. With one foot in the public sphere and the other in the business world, we aim to inspire progress and collaboration.
In close partnership with the food industry, we organize workshops for chefs, food assistants, and other food professionals to enhance their skills in creating flavorful, plant-rich dishes. Our initiatives also extend to schools, where we help children develop cooking skills, foster a love for preparing meals, and cultivate a broader interest in food. Additionally, we host public food events and cooking competitions to spark enthusiasm for plant-rich cuisine, celebrate the local gastronomic scene, and spotlight emerging talents.
