My cooperation interest is to conduct research that will help to develop the following environmental friendly agricultural best practices;
1. identifying research gaps and needs in the development of biofertilizers and biopesticides.
2. Transformation and transition steps towards zero synthetic fertilizers and pesticides based value chains.
3. Breakthroughs in biological research offering new prospects in biofertilizers and biopesticides agriculture.
4. Redesigning cropping systems for zero chemical fertilizer and pesticide use.
5. Implement agroecological practices in farming systems.
6. Knowledge creation and dissemination in the adoption of best agronomic practices.
My organization is an international leading research institute that enjoys substantial international standing as a major world centre in tree crops research. The Institute’s achievements and reputation, derive from its highly trained scientific staff, a well established experimental station infrastructure with functional facilities, and a tradition of scholarship and relevant research.
