We are interested in developing functional products from aquatic plants and animal organisms. Our major goal is to improve the nutrition and health of humans and animals with these products. We are open to partnership offers for all three titles. If we receive a partnership call from a consortium, our project proposal will be ready.

Mediterranean Fisheries Research Production and Training Institute (MEDFRI) is a public research institute that carries out its activities under the auspices of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Its vision is to produce and disseminate knowledge and technology with responsible and sustainable management of surface waters and fisheries resources and development of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture models. The Institute has deep experience and sound freshwater and marine aquaculture infrastructure. In addition to knowledge and experience in aquaculture, MEDFRI has a strong laboratory infrastructure equipped with gas, liquid, and ion chromatography, auto-analyzers, nitrogen and carbon analyzers, extraction systems, molecular lab equipment such as qPCR, dPCR, and nucleofector.
