humann models, exercise, diet, neuromuscular adaptations and metabolic adaptation
Topic 2: New foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation
We are looking to collaborate in the analysis and development of new foods by applying the to human models from a functional (muscular strength, power, endurance), neuromuscular (electrical activity) and metabolic perspectives (resting metabolic rate, maximal fat oxidation rates, etc).
Our laboratory alone or in collaboration with other institutions has evaluated the potential ergogenic effect of different dietary supplements and diet strategies on functional, neuromuscular and metabolic adaptations to acute and prologed exercise strategies in different population, from health and sport performance perspectives.
