Topic 1: The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
As a Work Package leader in the H2020 and Food2030 project “Fostering the Urban food System Transformation through Innovative Living Labs Implementation” (FUSILLI), 2021-2024, we can share know-how about the governance of urban food system changes, e.g. through Food Policy Councils. It can therefore address topic 1 issues such as “collaboration and networking among food system actors to boost the society and sector’s readiness to embracing transformative and innovative solutions” (topic 1) by bringing cases from Oslo and other places in Scandinavia.
Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) offers interdisciplinary social science and transdisciplinary applied research. Its main focus is planning for sustainable development in urban and subnational contexts. It has a vast experience in international project collaboration.
