Topic 1: Domestic food practices for enhancing sustainable and healthy diets
I am a Research Assistant in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Fırat University. Sustainability is one of my primary research interests, and I have recently authored a book chapter entitled “Food Safety and Food Waste”, in which issues related to sustainability are extensively discussed. I aim to further expand my research activities in this field.
I have experience in both laboratory-based research and data collection and analysis through survey methodologies. Our laboratory is well equipped with various instruments applicable to biochemistry and food chemistry research, including an ELISA system. In addition, our affiliation has a kitchen facility designed for implementing and testing different food recipes.
I would like to integrate my affiliation into an appropriate project by participating as a project partner.
