Topic 2: Towards diverse, sustainable and circular food processing systems
I am interested in joining FutureFoodS Topic 2 consortia to support the development and real-world adoption of circular, sustainable food processing solutions. I can contribute to work packages on consumer and sensory evaluation (acceptability, preference mapping, willingness-to-try/buy), nutrition and health positioning (nutrient profiling, diet-quality indicators), and pilot implementation/field validation in Türkiye with harmonised protocols for cross-country comparison. I am also interested in integrating health and sustainability metrics and supporting impact assessment and dissemination to practitioners, industry, and policy stakeholders.
Bursa Uludağ University is a public research university in Türkiye. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (Faculty of Health Sciences) conducts research and education in human nutrition, public health, and sustainable and healthy diets. Our group has experience in consumer decision-making research, applied evaluation in real-world food environments, and translation of ingredient/product innovations into practice through stakeholder engagement and pilot studies. We collaborate with academic and non-academic partners and can support recruitment, ethics approvals, and data collection for field studies in Türkiye.
