Topic 1: Domestic food practices for enhancing sustainable and healthy diets
I am interested in joining FutureFoodS Topic 1 consortia to study and improve domestic food practices that enhance sustainable and healthy diets. I can contribute to the design and evaluation of household-level interventions (surveys, behavioural/field experiments, mixed-methods and pragmatic evaluations), measurement of consumer behaviour determinants (attitudes, norms, self-efficacy, trust, barriers/facilitators), and operationalisation of nutrition outcomes (diet quality indicators, dietary patterns, food literacy metrics). I can also support pilot implementation and data collection in Türkiye and help harmonise protocols for cross-country comparisons and stakeholder-facing dissemination.
Bursa Uludağ University is a public research university in Türkiye. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (Faculty of Health Sciences) conducts research and education in human nutrition, public health, and sustainable and healthy diets. Our group has experience in consumer behaviour research, dietary assessment and diet-quality indicators, and real-world evaluation of interventions in everyday food environments. We collaborate with diverse stakeholders and can support recruitment, ethics procedures, and field data collection for household-focused studies in Türkiye.
