Topic 2: Towards diverse, sustainable and circular food processing systems
Our area of interest is Topic 2: Towards diverse, sustainable and circular food processing systems. Our focus is on increasing the shelf life and transport durability of organic plant-based products such as vegetables, fruits and foods to ensure sustainable food security and healthy food access. Our main focus is on identifying and developing environmentally friendly applications.
We will also research ways to ensure that animal and plant foods reach consumers without losing their nutritional value. To this end, we will analyse and compare the criteria of the selected products. These studies aim to identify effective applications for the selected foods.
