Topic 2: Towards diverse, sustainable and circular food processing systems
My research focuses on the transformation of food supply systems towards more sustainable, inclusive, and territorially embedded models. I am particularly interested in alternative and hybrid food supply chains that integrate social, environmental, and economic objectives, including short supply chains, solidarity-based food initiatives, and multi-actor partnerships. My work explores governance arrangements, organizational models, and coordination mechanisms that enable transitions towards resilient and just food systems, with attention to the role of civil society organizations, public policies, and local ecosystems.
LEST (Aix-Marseille Université) conducts interdisciplinary research on work, organizations, and public action. my team develop studies with a strong focus on social and solidarity economy initiatives, territorial dynamics, and sustainable transitions. The lab explores how collective actors, governance models, and alternative economic practices contribute to social inclusion and sustainable development.
