Topic 1: Domestic food practices for enhancing sustainable and healthy diets

ACIA (Association for Industrial Agriculture Awareness) is a Romania-based NGO that converts education, co-creation and institutional pilots into measurable shifts toward healthy, low-carbon diets.
Since 2019 we have run 288 events reaching 11,441 participants across 85 institutions in 23 localities through four flagship programmes (Behind the Plates, Seeds of Compassion, Plants for the Planet, CantinE COol). Our integrated model combines behaviour-change curricula, chef & caterer training, procurement support and monitoring — producing verified procurement shifts (notable increases in fruits, legumes and cereals and a +5.4% rise in vegan meal sales in a targeted canteen) and documented environmental savings in pilot canteens.
For a fast EU proposal ACIA offers: deployable training modules and curricular materials; on-the-ground access to schools and university canteens for rapid pilots; M&E templates and impact reporting; hands-on implementation teams and volunteer networks across Romanian regions; and prior experience in donor reporting and public engagement. We can act as WP leader or co-lead for stakeholder engagement, pilot implementation, M&E and dissemination.
