WP4- Water Consumption and Hygiene Effectiveness of Existing Industrial Vegetable Washing Practice
-Before and after washing vegetables, pesticide, nitrat, microplastic and microbial analysis (E.coli, total colifrom, salmonella) will be done
- Each partner will conduct as many of the aforementioned analyses as possible in real-world industrial and home kitchens within their own country. If there are any additional analyses you can conduct regarding food safety risks, please indicate them.

WP7 – Circular Side-Stream Management

• Identification and characterisation of side streams generated during vegetable washing and trimming
• Assessment of circular use options such as composting, animal feed or other valorisation pathways
• Development of practical recommendations for side-stream management within urban food environments
• Integration of circularity principles into the overall washing system and service model
