Partner Widening Offer: We are open to supporting the widening of a project that requires applied research in value chain transparency. We can offer:
Digital Transformation Processes: Guiding and analyzing the digital shift in food value chains. We bring established contacts with industry in AI and blockchain, building directly on our recent EU project experience, and apply requirements engineering to ensure digital tools align with practical stakeholder needs.
Sociotechnical Integration: Evaluating how digital transparency tools impact end-user and consumer trust in commercial settings. We apply deep social theory as a lens alongside sociotechnical theory to understand the complex interactions between technological innovations and stakeholder practices.
Methodology: We provide comprehensive mixed-methods expertise, integrating qualitative approaches like action research with rigorous quantitative evaluation, including Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and factor analysis.
Aeres University of Applied Sciences (Aeres UAS) is a Dutch applied research institution dedicated to the transition toward a sustainable, resilient agri-food system. Our mission is to develop “Green Changemakers” who tackle global sustainability challenges.
Our research strategy creates cross-campus synergy between urban consumption (“Healthy Living in the Green City” at our Almere campus) and agricultural production (“Sustainable Entrepreneurship” and "Smart Agri Food Systems" at our Dronten campus).
Assets and Resources:
We have access to our regional facilities, living labs, and direct access to real-world testing environments. We bring a regional network of SMEs in agri-food, policymakers, and citizens, ensuring an effective “quadruple helix” approach for multi-actor projects. As a Dutch partner, our participation is eligible for national funding through Regieorgaan SIA.
