We are interested in collaborating on projects that focus on sustainable and circular food processing systems. We can contribute our expertise in life cycle assessment, environmental sustainability, and circular bioeconomy strategies to support improved processing and packaging, valorisation of by-products and side-streams, and product compositions tailored to diverse consumer groups.

The Department of Agroecology conducts research on environmental performance, resource efficiency, and circular bioeconomy strategies. Our team provides scientific expertise to integrate sustainability assessment with data-driven solutions to support circular, resource-efficient, and sustainable food processing systems.
