Topic 1: Domestic food practices for enhancing sustainable and healthy diets
WIISE is interested in supporting consortia whose scope is to introduce healthy and sustainable diets by means of dietary intervention which involve e.g. nutrition labelling understanding (FOP and BOP); training and education of the impact of healthy and unhealthy diets; interaction with other beneficial and risk factors (e.g. physical activity and sedentary, alcohol and tobacco exposure); reduction and prevention of food waste generation; impact for vulnerable groups (e.g. children, pregnant women, elder, people with disability, people with allergenicity or intolerance risks).
The organisation may support the compliance of applicable regulations in different interventions adopted to promote the enhancement of healthy and sustainable diets, and/or support the drafting of policy brief supported by lobbying activities to implement new provisions at national and/or EU level, where such provisions are missing and which may benefit consumers and other interested parties.
WIISE Srl Società Benefit is a SME dedicated in supporting the compliance of EU and national food legislation by food businesses and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. researchers, industries, policy makers, associations) in economic activities and research and innovation projects. The organisation aims to increase the exploitation on the market of high nutritional and safe food products, supporting economic value for food companies and increasing the nutritional and healthy benefit for consumers while ensuring the integrity of their interests against e.g. food frauds, deceptive commercial practices.
