Topic 2: New foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation
CISAS is a research centre from the Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo in Northern Portugal. We are a team of 80+ scientists covering all aspects of the food chain, from farm to fork. We are interested in entering a consortium aiming to develop a project proposal on topic 2 of this call: Fostering innovations in food design, processing, and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation.
CISAS-IPVC is a research center with 80+scientists covering the entire food chain: agronomists, zootechnitians, veterinaries, soil scientists, water scientists, microbiologists, food technologists, social scientists, and many others.
We are fully equipped with labs for chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, food technology, plant technology, and we have an experimental kitchen, sensory analysis lab, a pilot winery, and pilot-scale post-harvest facility.
