CISAS is a research centre from the Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo in Northern Portugal. We are a team of 80+ scientists covering all aspects of the food chain, from farm to fork. We are interested in entering a consortium aiming to develop a project proposal on topic 3 of this call: Empowering sustainable food choices – Enabling food environments and dietary shifts

CISAS-IPVC is a research center with 80+scientists covering the entire food chain: agronomists, zootechnitians, veterinaries, soil scientists, water scientists, microbiologists, food technologists, social scientists, and many others.
We are fully equipped with labs for chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, food technology, and plant technology, and we have an experimental kitchen, a sensory analysis lab, a pilot winery, and a pilot-scale post-harvest facility.
