Topic 2: New foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation
G&N Food Research, founded in 2017 (Turkish SME), is a food research company that focuses primarily on the new demands of sensitive consumers to provide retro-innovative functional food products processed by fermentation such as cereal-based milk and yogurt analogs, high protein probiotic breakfast cereals, probiotic vegetable juice, functional smoothie blends, vegetable leathers, post-fermented coffee, and any other similar functional plant-based products. Also, as G&N, we are interested in valorizing food processing and horeca wastes. We use different starter cultures to develop sensorially attractive vegetable juices without apple unification. We created a solid-state fermentation process to upcycle coffee waste to produce kombucha. We are also working on the development of methane-reducing livestock feeds. We are open to collaborating with any group in our projects defined above and/or any other project proposal in our scope.
