Topic 2: New foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation
We are actively seeking collaborative projects focused on processing algae using microbial systems, as well as developing innovative food products and algae-based ingredients, including natural food colorants, pigments, and proteins. We are developing advanced fermentation technologies to process algae biomass using co-culture microbial systems, including probiotics. These processes allow us to create products that serve as natural food colorants, alternative protein sources, and functional food ingredients. Our innovative approach enhances the sensory attributes of algae, making them more appealing and suitable for a wide range of applications. We are open to collaboration with partners who share our vision of leveraging innovative fermentation technologies to unlock the potential of algae biomass. This includes joint efforts in developing high-value products such as natural food colorants, alternative proteins, and functional food ingredients.
